The JIAC conference 2009 in the Forum of Wageningen University and Research centre was successfully. The mission of the conference was to bring together delegates from science, policy and industry to discuss important subjects ,innovations and cross themes on precision agriculture. The outcome of the interactive evaluation on the last day turned out to be very positive about this joint conference.

 

The programme started on Sunday July 5^th with an informal reception visited by many participants and it ended with an interesting Technical Tour on Thursday July 9^th .

500 Participants registered for the conference coming from 49 different countries. The (280) sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were attended by many delegates and lead to lively discussions. The poster presentations were well attended and formed a good contribution to the conference.

The executive committee thanks all participants for making the JIAC conference 2009 successfully.
